Background

I earned my real estate license in 2002 in order to first work as an assistant to my husband, Chad, as his sales continued to grow.  Four years later we founded Homewaters LLC together so that we could continue to focus on the marketing and sale of waterfront properties throughout northern Michigan.  Our shared passion for the lakes and rivers we get to enjoy on a daily basis has allowed us to successfully introduce hundreds of buyers to the property where they now make their own memories.  We've been very fortunate to attract more than a dozen other exceptional agents, each servicing their own home service area, to ensure that we can take care of just about anyone looking to own or sell property in the northern half of our incredible state.

I've always been an inherently highly organized person and have realized that's pretty unique among REALTORS.  I take great pride in proactively addressing hurdles that may arise in any transaction.  I also have a long history within the hospitality industry. I think that experience allows me to stay focused when transactions sometimes start to go off the rails.  We're entrusted with transactions that can have an enormous impact on individuals' financial well being and it's understandable that emotions may sometimes rise.  Working to keep everyone solution oriented while remaining sympathetic to the emotions involved is key to achieving a positive outcome.  Even further to that end, I have a degree in Sociology, which comes in handy when things really hit the fan. :)

If you or anyone you know has a real estate need in Northwest Michigan and the Chain of Lakes or East Bay in Antrim County, in particular, I'd love the opportunity to discuss your goals and earn the right to represent you.  I look forward to hearing from you soon.
