Since our founding, we've had the good fortune of representing the sale of some of the finest waterfront and recreational properties in northern Michigan. Many of our seller and buyer clients over that time have asked if we also handle vacation rentals. We thought it was a good opportunity to help out our clients and friends in business. Forest Haven on Lake Skegemog
This spectacular cottage home on Lake Skegemog is a perfect example of the properties we represent. Nestled among towering pines and hardwoods, this recently built craftsman style cottage home is ideally located on quiet Lake Skegemog and provides boat access to Torch, Elk, and Clam Lakes and Lake Bellaire. The well designed home features plenty of room for family and friends to enjoy time together or find a quiet space to relax and enjoy the solitude. There is no need to sacrifice the comforts of home with this well appointed property.
Lake Skegemog is not quite as well known as her sister lakes, Torch and Elk, but there are many advantages. The water warms much earlier in the season making early season swims or ski sessions much more enjoyable. Relative to Torch and Elk, there is much less boat traffic on Skegemog so quiet moments are much easier to come by. The fishing on Skegemog is also much more accessible with shallower water and tremendous populations of bass, perch, pike and world class musky.
Skegemog Point road is a breathtaking tree lined lane extending north directly from M-72 providing very quick access to Traverse City and downstate. Because the road terminates at the water, there is no through traffic providing a great atmosphere for morning walks. Uncle Tom's Cabin on The AuSable River
Uncle Tom's Cabin on Pioneer Pointe is a late 1800's hand-hewed logger’s cabin. Located on a super private peninsula, the cabin is nestled among towering, mature Red Pines, with the perimeter outlined in mature Cedars, Birch, Tamarack and array of other Pines.
Cozy, warm and humble, take a step back in time to enjoy the beauty of the world renowned, blue ribbon, Au Sable River.
Settled on 11.3 acres, 700 feet of river frontage surrounds the property on three sides. Multiple, private walking paths through the overall 32 acre property, some leading to a private spring fed pond, nestled in the forest, perfect for ice skating.
Mary's Trail takes you into a private 10 acre section of our Hartwick Pines style forest where only the oldest and largest trees are standing, leaving you awe inspired in their towering beauty.
The cabin is 2,000 square feet with a large wood burning fireplace. 3 bedrooms (one queen bed on main level, two rooms upstairs each with two twin beds), and one large loft with bunk beds and a pull-out couch. You can sleep a total of 10 people. 2 full baths (one up stairs, one on main level)
and a Washer and dryer.

Welcome to our cozy cabin in the woods.Open year-round, you will find it to be well-equipped and spotless. Newly remodeled, this woodland getaway features a knotty Pine living room and Jacuzzi room. Two bedrooms; one has a queen bed, the other has two twin beds. Living room is fully equipped with a futon, 55" flat screen, and satellite television. This cabin sleeps 5-6 people. Laundry room includes a washer and dryer. Kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, and oven. We are located one mile away from the famous Gates Lodge, and one mile away from Kneff Lake.
