Something About Mary

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a bit more about me as you try to find the REALTOR best suited to guide you through the buying or selling process.  First and foremost, I'm passionate about our industry and those clients I represent.  So much so that I took a position as The President of The Traverse Area Association of REALTORS after serving on a number of committees and  the Board of Directors.  My platform was based almost entirely on raising the bar of professionalism among the local REALTOR community and I think we really made an impact.  There are very few professions that allow one to help guide clients through the most significant financial decisions they may make in their life.  We can have a deep impact on the lives of our clients and I take that to heart.  Many of my past clients are among my closest friends today and I wouldn't have it any other way.  The relationships I've built througout the REALTOR community and related industries provide a broad network of resources I can reach into on behalf of my seller and buyer clients.

I've been in the business since 2002 and have learned from each and every transaction I've been involved with.  That experience is difficult to match and I'd love to put it to work helping you and your family find the property that best suits your needs and budget.  I'm a full time REALTOR and choose to focus on a limited number of clients so I can remain their sole point of contact throughout the buying or selling transaction.  It can be a daunting process, but with the right information at hand and the trust of an experienced agent, there's no reason it can't be a fun  and exciting journey.  I believe that trust must be gained and the best way I've found to do this is to stay in regular contact with my clients.  I normally reach out with weekly updates to each seller and am very proactive in notifying buyers of new listings or changes to properties they've expressed an interest in.  Through the use of social media like Facebook, Instagram and our company blog, I'm also able to stay in touch with my clients on a regular basis, even those who haven't introduced themselves yet.

I also enjoy volunteering for a number of other causes within the community as a way to offer my time and expertise.  I've been a board member of The Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy and Kalkaska Public Schools and volunteered at the Biederman Cancer Clinic in Traverse City for three years.  The time and energy committed to these efforts is insignificant compared to the rich experiences and great friendships I earned working on these causes.

While real estate is my chosen profession and I proudly identify myself as a REALTOR whenever possible, there's nothing in life I'm more proud of than my daughter, Heather, and my grand daughter, Lilly.  These ladies are truly the lights of my life.  Being a mother and watching my daughter grow into an amazing, independant woman was the most amazing experience of my life.  And now being able to spend time with my grand daughter has taken on a whole other world of joy for me.  Life is certainly good up here in northern Michigan and I cannot wait to see what's around the next corner

I'd really love to help  you reach your real estate goals  whether it's buying or selling. I am honest, trustworthy and respectful. I'll put my experience to work to ensure we find the right property and get it for the best possible terms while enjoying ourselves along the way.  Thanks again for your time.  I look forward to hearing from you soon.
