Traverse Heights Neighborhood in Downtown Traverse City sits in the Southeast corner of Downtown, with 8th and Centre Streets as its North/South boundaries, Garfield as the Eastern boundary, stretching to the shores of Boardman Lake to the West.  

This neighborhood has one of the longest Boardman Lake shorelines of any of the neighborhoods in Downtown TC, where many condos are available for low maintenance living in Traverse Heights.  Hull Park stretches the shoreline in the Northern part of Traverse Heights, and has many great walking/biking trails with great views of the lake.  

The main branch of Traverse Area District Library is on Woodmere, and many restaurants, cafés, bike shops, and more are only a short stroll from Traverse Heights.  

Homes in Traverse Heights are among the most affordable in downtown Traverse City, and are very close to the businesses and thoroughfare along Garfield Avenue.
